Pilot & Maintenance Training
Along with the delivery of helicopters, Helicopter Alliance together with Ace Aeronautics provides pilot training and mechanics training at our certified training organization in accordance with the approved training syllabus. Our training organizations Slovak Training Academy (STA) based in Europe, and U.S. Aviation Training Solutions based in Florida are responsible for this part of our turn-key offering.
We conduct all training operations in accordance with our FAR Part 141 TCO requirements, irrespective of whether training is being conducted under Part 141 or Part 61 and have structured our curriculums around advanced aviation decision-making concepts, such as Threat and Error Management and Human Performance Limitations. Our generic training courses are available to the public and can be scheduled in any sequence or combination a respective customer may require. Our primary training programs begin with maneuver-based exercises and evolve into scenario-based exercises that can be tailored around a respective customer’s mission requirements. All courses are offered as “turnkey” solutions (flight instruction, academic instruction, courseware, etc.) and can also be provided with additional support elements such as logistics, accommodations, and transportation, if requested.
The academy operates 24/7, 365 days a year, and features state-of-the-art classrooms with professional simulators available for future pilots right on the airport. Our extensive fleet of helicopters, numbering more than two dozen, is ready to meet all training objectives. Pre-flight inspections and maintenance are essential for safe flight, which is why we provide comprehensive UH-60 and MD530 maintenance training. Our maintenance training program allows customers to reduce costs without reducing quality and train new professionals under the supervision of experienced instructors. We have an effective virtual and practical maintenance education program that allows our students to train for all common helicopter maintenance cases, as well as once-in-a-lifetime situations.
